Peck Ritchey, LLC, is happy to announce that Kerry Peck has been appointed as the Liaison from the Senior Lawyers Division to the American Bar Association Commission on Law and Aging. Peck’s appointment began on the 1st of September.

The ABA’s Commission on Law and Aging examines a broad spectrum of legal issues that affect people in the later years of their lives. The work that the Commission engages in helps to produce advancements in the following areas: policy and practice research, professional and consumer education in capacity assessment, elder abuse, health care decision making, guardianship, rights of older adults, Medicare, and cognitive impairment.

I solicited Peck Ritchey, LLC for assistance with a living trust for which I became the beneficiary. I needed assistance with understanding the details of how it all worked.
