Payton Moore is an associate attorney at Peck Ritchey, LLC. In addition to representing individuals and families, Payton represents financial institutions, medical institutions, and various fiduciaries.

Payton graduated with her Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where she also received a Certificate in Advocacy. Payton was involved in several organizations in law school, including the Annals of Health Law and Life Sciences Journal, Women’s Law Society, and Criminal Law Society. Prior to attending law school, Payton graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and History of Law and Policy.

Payton joined Peck Ritchey, LLC in January 2024 as a law clerk. Prior to joining the firm, Payton worked as a law clerk for a plaintiff’s personal injury firm and clerked for the Illinois Attorney General’s Office in their Criminal Trials Bureau.

I solicited Peck Ritchey, LLC for assistance with a living trust for which I became the beneficiary. I needed assistance with understanding the details of how it all worked. However, I was especially concerned because there were threats of allegations made by family members and a lawsuit was filed against me.
